NavVida and Navigator Church Ministries staff took part in the Missions Conference at Seminario Biblico Rio Grande (Rio Grande Bible College) this spring in Edinburgh, Texas. Through the book table displays and demonstrating Spanish materials, many students and other visitors were given the vision for generational discipleship. One youth pastor took almost all of the Design for Discipleship (DFD) studies in Spanish. Several pastors from Mexico also showed interest in our materials and programs. In addition, our staff gave seminars in Spanish on discipleship in the Latino context. The seminar had over-flow crowds, with many expressing a desire to receive more training in discipleship principles and programs. Consequently, some of our staff will be returning in the fall to give classroom presentations of how to use Navigator discipleship materials in Spanish.
